Counseling Compact Updates: The Counseling Compact is an interstate compact that is useful to counselors, clients, and the public. Counselors that are licensed and residing in a compact member state are allowed to provide services without the need for multiple licenses. Clients benefit by receiving continuity of care when they are their counselors travel or relocate. The public benefits because the Compact will ensure that member states quickly share investigative and disciplinary information and cooperate in investigations by practitioners when needed.

Fentanyl-The Invisible Killer (one pill kills)
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 50-100 times more potent than morphine. It is often lethal with as little as 2 milligrams.
- 99% of fentanyl overdoses are accidents.
- 4 out of every 10 pills with fentanyl contain a potentially lethal dose.
The following is what to do if you think someone is overdosing:
- Call 911 immediately
- Administer Naloxone or Narcan, if available.
- Try to keep the person awake and breathing
- Lay the person on their side to prevent choking.
- Stay with the person until emergency workers arrive.
